by Brian K. Vaughan (art by Cliff Chiang; colors by Matt Wilson; letters by Jared K. Fletcher)
Erin, Mac (Mackenzie), Tiffany, and KJ are used to the usual morning after Halloween shenanigans, so they buddy up to do their paper route. All Saints Day 1988 turns out to be a little bit different. The girls split up to cover more ground quickly and it isn’t long until things get supremely weird. In a tale of time travel, friendship, alien languages, pterodactyls, and inter-generational fighting, these papergirls are in for an adventure of a lifetime.
I’m a fan of Brian K. Vaughan, so I was excited about this new release. These papergirls are a pretty rad group of girls and I was guessing what was going to happen each turn of the page. If you like this, check out Lumberjanes by Noelle Stevenson or Ms. Marvel by G. Willow Wilson.
